Formation Courses

A journey of a lifetime

The five different phases offer a deepening journey to those undergoing the Jesus Youth formation process. In the contact phase the person gets an awareness of the movement and the possibilities of the faith journey. Here the person is invited to the first two formation courses. An initial encounter and a renewal of baptism happens during this phase. The companion phase ensures a gradual growth in the person’s relationship with the Lord. The next two courses lead the person to the fundamentals of the Catholic faith.

The next phase is when the person is committed to the spirituality of the movement and the six pillars. It leads to the Missionary Discipleship courses and to a confirmed phase as the person has become a missionary disciple in every way.

The next phase which is a covenant phase is a special spiritual covenant between the person and the movement in accordance with the vision of the catholic Church.
